Bluebird

Say you'll wait for me
Where the wind is slowed
By the evergreens
There we'll see again
How the world behaves
When there's nothing left

And if the conversation dries up
We can watch the forest rise up tall
And hear the bluebird call

Young and old today
We are strong and weak
Bright and dark as space
Stuck between the lines
Where they can keep us
