Sent by the wind 
Crashing and bruised 
Learning from the cosmic ruse 
How to be undone 
When was it doomed 
And who let it through 
 
If I was the forest green 
Bursting at the seems 
Taking over streets 
Stealing back the make-believe 
No burning lights
