On the Mend
Find me in the sun
Beneath the colors
I’ve always held
Close to me
So I rattled off
Some things
I had discovered
In the time between
But now we’re near autumn
Let the daylight fade
Losing our stardom
The silent way again
Left to fend
But we’re on the mend
Shiver in the cold
For the first time
But we’re going soon
Home again
Wrote a poem
From the heart
And asked you to sign
To prove it’s true
That now we’re near autumn
Let the daylight fade
Losing our stardom
The silent way again
Left to fend
But we’re on the mend
Find me in the sun
Beneath the colors
I’ve always held
Close to me
So I rattled off
Some things
I had discovered
In the time between
But now we’re near autumn
Let the daylight fade
Losing our stardom
The silent way again
Left to fend
But we’re on the mend
Shiver in the cold
For the first time
But we’re going soon
Home again
Wrote a poem
From the heart
And asked you to sign
To prove it’s true
That now we’re near autumn
Let the daylight fade
Losing our stardom
The silent way again
Left to fend
But we’re on the mend
