Silver Moon

See you when the winter breaks
And all the ice has gone away
Saving up for my first take
At seeing outer space

But pretty soon
I will stand on the silver moon
And watch it bloom
Recognize how it lives and how it dies
Settle ages of doubt before my eyes
Make my way there
Among the ashes and the craters
Stuck in time

See you when the time has come
To turn the page and move along
Would be a scar on yesterday
To have the means but never go
