Filled in the deep end
With something that I had

Watching the daybreak

Yet we have come this far
To leave and discard
Is to forget who we are
To be afraid of the scars

Brighten the image
Reveal any limits
On your mind
 
Set out to replace
Culled every mistake
And borrowed time again
 
Still we long to make
The thrill of the chase
Front and center stage
Cannot lie in wait
 
There are days ahead
We’ll laugh more instead
And finish what was said
Cannot be misled
Else you’ll never keep
